3 offensive standouts from the Panini Senior Bowl game who perfectly fit the Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders will likely need some of these Senior Bowl players on their offense in 2026.
Klint Kubiak appears set to become the Las Vegas Raiders’ new head coach following the conclusion of the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots’ Super Bowl run. That means targeting offensive players who fit his scheme and support the Raiders’ future quarterback.
The Raiders can add the right offensive talent through free agency, with $88 million in cap space to work with. They’ll also look to the 2026 NFL Draft, which kicks off with the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, where top college players showcase their skills for scouts and coaches.
Several great players impressed this past week and would fit the Raiders perfectly. To break down these prospects, we turned to A to Z Sports’ Rob Gregson, who covered the Senior Bowl on site all week.
3 offensive players at the Senior Bowl who fit the Raiders
Malachi Fields, Notre Dame Fighting Irish WR
The Raiders need a receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft to help Fernando Mendoza, the expected top pick. Fields can get open, stretch the field, and run routes well in the intermediate areas. With current threats and possession receivers on the roster, adding a middle-of-the-field target like Fields makes sense.
Ted Hurst, Georgia State WR
“Coming from a smaller school, it’s about having the opportunity to compete against guys from the Power 5, showing that we’ve got talent, too,” Hurst told PennLive at the Senior Bowl. “I’m a competitor. I can compete with the best in the world.”
Hurst proved at the Senior Bowl that talent from smaller schools can stand out. The Raiders need a receiver but may wait until later rounds. Hurst, with a strong week in Mobile, could be an ideal late-round fit.
Fernando Carmona, Arkansas OG
Carmona is a tad on the shorter side for a guard at 6-3, but he’s a sturdy interior presence. He had an excellent Wednesday practice, which is always considered the most important part of the week. Carmona to the Raiders would make perfect sense for the Las Vegas native. That interior needs a desperate overhaul to actually create some traction for Ashton Jeanty. Carmona is the perfect late-round addition to a struggling offensive line. I see him as a day three swing with upside and someone who helped himself tremendously during the week in Mobile. – Rob Gregson
