On Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m. EST, no team in the NFL will be allowed to make trades until after the season. We usually see a flurry of moves made by teams across the league before then, and one team that could be making moves is the Las Vegas Raiders.

We have all heard the names, like wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and others, that teams may be interested in. But which three players on the Raiders should be available at the deadline? Which gives them the best value in return? Let’s go through it.

3 Raiders players who should be on the trade block at the deadline

Jakobi Meyers, WR

The Las Vegas Raiders have yet to give Meyers his contract extension, and as he has stated recently, he still wants to be traded. He loves the team and his teammates, but he cares about supporting his family much more than that, and he’s willing to go somewhere else where that’s understood.

There is no doubt some teams are interested in Meyers. He has to be on this list because he is the most obvious one; however, he is not one who will get back the most value. Meyers will likely get the Raiders as much as a fifth-rounder, and I can’t see them getting more than that.

Tyree Wilson, DE

Two regimes ago, or two before this one, I should say, the Raiders drafted Tyree Wilson. He was the No. 7 overall pick, and now he’s in his third season. He has improved a ton, but he’s not nearly where he should be for a No. 7 overall pick. Wilson will be in a contract year in 2026, so getting on a new team should help him reach his full potential.

The Raiders could recoup some decent draft capital, such as a fifth-round pick or a couple of sixth-rounders, which could then be used to potentially trade up to a fourth-round pick. They can certainly do something with Wilson, which then allows the younger guys behind him, like Tonka Hemingway, a way on the field to develop.

Malcolm Koonce, DE

Koonce is on a one-year deal, and the Raiders could get some solid draft capital for him because his contract is cheap, and he’s still producing, all things considered. Koonce is behind Maxx Crosby in pressures, and while the sack numbers aren’t amazing, the defense is pretty bad. So, there isn’t much to consider there.

However, a team that desperately needs a pass rusher to make a run in the postseason may be willing to give up a fifth or sixth rounder for Koonce. And then, just like with Wilson, it gives more room for the younger guys to get on the field.

Now, the Raiders could do nothing at the 2026 NFL trade deadline. They don’t have to make a trade by any means. However, it would be in their best interest to make at least one of these, as they won’t be in the postseason this year.
