NFL insider reveals who will likely start at QB for the Raiders vs. Chargers

The Las Vegas Raiders were shut out 3-0 against the Minnesota Vikings at home after a bye week, so something needed to be done. Antonio Pierce, the Raiders' interim head coach, said after that game that everything would be evaluated, including the quarterback position.

Now, we are one day away from the primetime matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, and no decision has yet been made.

However, ESPN insider Adam Schefter revealed what his sources are saying about the possible quarterback change on Thursday.

Despite Raiders’ HC Antonio Pierce being noncommittal about which QB would start Thursday night vs. the Chargers, rookie QB Aidan O’Connell is expected to remain the starter for this week’s game, per source.

Schefter tweeted that Antonio Pierce is leaning towards rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell, who has been the starter since Pierce took over in Week 9.

That's the best idea. O'Connell is a rookie, so there is still time to figure out what he should be. Why put Garoppolo back in when we know what he is? It's pretty simple.
