The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos hate one another. They have a long-standing history against each other as AFC West division rivals. According to The Football Database, the Raiders lead the all-time series record 73-54-2, and it helps that they have beaten the Broncos eight times in a row.

The Broncos have never beaten the Las Vegas Raiders, in fact, the last time they beat the team in silver and black, the Raiders were still in Oakland in 2019. The Broncos, however, have had the most recent success, having won a Super Bowl in 2015, and they have the biggest win over the Raiders, with a 51-0 win in 1967.

Both of these teams are 2-2 on the year, with the Broncos having lost their first two games against the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and then winning their last two against two good teams the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets. The Raiders have lost to the Los Angeles Chargers and Carolina Panthers, while they have beaten the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. Both are looking to improve to 3-2.

Raiders players to watch

Jakobi Meyers, WR: With all of the trade talk surrounding Davante Adams, it's pretty clear that Meyers will be WR1 unless the Raiders happen to get a guy like Garrett Wilson back in the trade, whenever that happens. Davante Adams could be out Sunday against the Broncos, and Meyers could have a good game. Or, he could get locked up by Pat Surtain.

Tre Tucker, WR: With Meyers possibly getting Surtain on him all game, this should free up Tucker to have some big-time plays. He has elite speed and incredible YAC ability. If they will give him the ball, he will make a play.

Tyree Wilson, DE: Wilson had his best game yet last week. But, that was against a bad offensive line. The Broncos aren't great, but they will be better than the Browns' offensive line. However, they are undisciplined and get quite a few penalties. Let's see if Wilson can stack up good games one after another.

Broncos players to watch

Patrick Surtain, CB: There's no doubt who's been the best cornerback in the league this year. Surtain has shut down players. He just did against Garrett Wilson last week, and without Davante Adams, he could make the passing game very difficult for the Raiders.

Zach Allen, DT: Allen has the second most quarterback pressures of any player in the league this season. Pair that with the fact that the Raiders have a backup guard in Cody Whitehair and a rookie in Jackson Powers-Johnson, and Allen could do some real damage on Sunday.

Ja'Quan McMillian, DB: The nickel defensive back has been great this year, and was really good last game against the Jets when covering the inside. He's a reason the Jets could not do anything through the air. With Surtain on one side, McMillian in the slot, things could get ugly.

AFC West Standings

The Raiders, Broncos, and Chargers are all tied at 2-2 on the year, with the Chargers having the tiebreaker due to the division win over the Raiders in Week 1. The Kansas City Chiefs are in first as they are undefeated at 4-0. This game will give either the Raiders or the Broncos a chance to get second place in the AFC West, as the Chargers are on a bye week this week.

Broncos' Key Injuries

The Broncos will be without Baron Browning, Mike McGlinchey, Quinn Bailey, Alex Singleton, JL Skinner, and Tyler Badie are all players who could be or will be out in Week 5.

Raiders' Key Injuries

The Raiders will be without Malcolm Koonce, Michael Mayer, and Marcus Epps. They could be without Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby, Dylan Parham, Tyreik McAllister, Divine Deablo, and Decamerion Richardson.
