The Las Vegas Raiders have a ton of fans that are celebrities. They are one of the most famous franchises in the NFL, and people have grown up rooting for them because of how iconic they were in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

One of their biggest fans and most famous fans is NBA superstar Damian Lillard, who is from Oakland, California. He has never been afraid to voice his concerns on Twitter about what the Raiders are doing.

With Lillard playing on the Milwaukee Bucks, who are in the NBA In-Season Tournament being held in Las Vegas, he caught up with Mike Dixon of Vegas Sports Today to talk about his favorite team.

The first topic of discussion is rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell.

"I think in any professional league, it's tough to be a rookie, especially in the NFL," Lillard said. "They know you're young. You've got a Hall of Fame wide receiver you have to get the ball to. Being a quarterback is like being a point guard but in a much more physical game. I like what I have seen."

The next five games will help determine whether or not the Raiders will like O'Connell as a long-term quarterback, and it will also help determine whether or not interim head coach Antonio Pierce is the right guy for the job.

Damian Lillard thinks he is.

"I ride with AP [Antonio Pierce]," Lillard continued. "I'm a super big fan of a players coach."

Pierce seems to be catching the attention of fans of all kinds, whether it be the average casual fa or a superstar celebrity in his own sport. Pierce is doing something right, but now he has to do the winning part a bit more.
