The Las Vegas Raiders may now be 2-8 and one of the worst teams in the league, but they still have something to hang their hat on — they have the best tight end in the league. Brock Bowers, their first pick in this last draft, is exactly that, the best in the league at his position despite it being his first season.

It gets even crazier when you think about how bad of a team he is on and how bad of an offense and quarterback they have. He is making something out of nothing, while also having amazing games where the offensive puts up stinkers.

That's pretty much what happened on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, where the offense was better than it had been, but still wasn't great. Regardless, what his opponent was able to see left them in awe. The things he is doing are pretty crazy, and the Dolphins had a front-row seat.

"[Brock] Bowers is legit. He didn't disappoint. He is going to be a player that everyone knows for years to come," Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said after the game.

I don't want to keep piling on about something acting like it's so amazing when the reality is, that the Raiders still lost. That's something that they will have to learn how to do as the season goes on, especially next year when they have their future quarterback.

But, to see that other coaches are blown away with what Bowers has done and is doing, says a lot about the choice that general manager Tom Telesco made in the draft.

The Raiders are 2-8, and are set to play the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs next.
