The 2025 NFL Draft is just a few days away. The first day kicks off on Thursday, and from there, the craziness truly begins. And with the draft being so close, that means mock draft season is coming to a close.

Well, that is unless you're crazy and do it all year round like me. But seriously, the draft is close, and the Raiders have a ton of important decisions to make. This draft is one of the most important ones in recent years, and this new regime has to get it right.

Luckily for them, I have the blueprint. My final mock draft is out, and while I will likely get no picks right, because getting one right is hard enough, I feel confident in the Raiders doing a similar strategy that I did, especially the trade strategy I did.

The Raiders have nine picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, and not all of them will even make the active roster. So, why not bump that down a bit by trading up? In this mock draft, I took the Raiders' three sixth-round picks that they have and traded them away for the Dallas Cowboys' fifth-round pick at 149. And with that, I was able to get another player who could possibly be an impact player in 2025.

Final Raiders 2025 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 6: Ashton Jeanty, Boise State, RB

Not much has changed here for me. I initially thought there could be some smoke between the Raiders and Armand Membou, or another offensive tackle, especially since Jeanty started getting some smoke from the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that's all it ever is, smoke. The Raiders will be drafting Jeanty, and while I'm much more on board for drafting an RB in the second round for positional value, the Raiders are going to make this pick, unless they just shock everyone.

Round 2, Pick 37: Trey Amos, Ole Miss, CB

The Raiders desperately need a cornerback, and while I can see them being on board with going for an offensive lineman here, I think Amos fits what Pete Carroll wants to do and what he likes. So, I think it will be hard to pass on him. They need to get a CB early in the draft, or they could find themselves with a very poor secondary in 2025. Amos has the size and length to be an elite Carroll DB, like we have seen in the past with the Seattle Seahawks.

Round 3, Pick 68: Chris Paul Jr., Ole Miss, LB

Yes, that's right, two Ole Miss defenders in a row, but when you watch both of them, it makes sense. And this pick especially makes sense. Right now, there is a ton of smoke regarding the Raiders taking LB/EDGE Jalon Walker, and to me, that's just not a good fit. He isn't ready to be an NFL EDGE, and at LB, he can't cover, and neither can Devin White or Elandon Roberts. Now, Chris Paul Jr. may be the best coverage LB in the draft.

Round 4, Pick 108: David Walker, Central Arkansas, EDGE

With Malcolm Koonce being on a one-year deal, and there being questions of whether he is going to be back to himself or not, and Tyree Wilson heading into a big year in terms of his future on this team, the Raiders need someone at the EDGE spot. And fans won't know this guy, but David Walker is the perfect fit. He's a bit undersized, but his FCS film is legit. Letting him workout and get taught by Maxx Crosby would be special. He's a hidden gem.

Round 5, Pick 143: Miles Frazier, LSU, OG

The Raiders need offensive line help across the board, but to me, they should extend Kolton Miller and give DJ Glaze a shot to prove himself, as he started to get very good as the year went on. The part that really needs attention is the interior, and Frazier is a great pass blocker in that interior, but he needs work on the run game. He would be a good fit, and he knows Chip Kelly's brother pretty well.

Round 5, Pick 149: Andrew Armstrong, Arkansas, WR

It seems like everyone is sleeping on a guy who was maybe the best receiver in the SEC last year, and that was with missing a game and being on a bad passing offense. He led the SEC in catches and yards, yet no one is talking about him. Armstrong reminds me a lot of Jakobi Meyers, in that both are pretty versatile. And, you can't tell me having two Jakobi Meyers would be a bad thing.

Round 7, Pick 222: Kurtis Rourke, Indiana, QB

The Raiders may still very well draft a QB in the 2025 NFL Draft, even with Geno Smith signing his extension. And, Rourke is still somewhat young at 24 years old, and he has shown a lot of potential. Draft him and sit him a year or two, and the Raiders could be in good shape.
