The Las Vegas Raiders have had quite the overhaul in the front office and coaching staff over the past couple of seasons.
One move that they made was trading edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue. they got cornerback Rock Ya-Sin in return for him. Ya-Sin has played well for the Raiders at times, but Ngakoue has continued his consistent production in Indianapolis.
He is making history and putting his name alongside some all-time greats.
It's a tough look for the Raiders' front office.
Ngakoue was a solid player on the opposite side from Maxx Crosby.
Las Vegas brought in Chandler Jones to replace him. That hasn't been the case at all. Jones and co. have struggled on the defensive line, and Crosby is the only player producing for the Raiders.
He's been marvelous for the Raiders, but he needs help.
Unfortunately, that help does not seem to be on the roster right now. The Raiders will need to look for edge pass rush help in the NFL Draft or during free agency in the upcoming year.
Ya-Sin is a good piece in the secondary, but their choice to trade away an impressive pass rusher may come back to bite them.
