Whether you have followed the team for a long time, or even for just a few years, you have likely heard about former cornerback Eric Allen. Allen played for the Eagles and Raiders, but some of his best years were wearing the Silver and Black.
Allen was a six-time Pro Bowler and was an All-Pro one time. He played with the Eagles from 1988-1994. He then played with the New Orleans Saints for three seasons and then the Oakland Raiders from 1998 to 2001.
Allen was one of the better cornerbacks in the league when he played. He could shut down receivers. Hopefully, he gets in, as it has been long overdue.
