The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot of former players that fans still love. One of those guys is former punter Marquette King, who is loved because he is one of the very few black punters we have seen in the league, and he was damn good at his job.

However, King was with the then-Oakland Raiders from 2013 to 2017. In 2018, he joined the Denver Broncos and hasn't been in the league since. He's been in and out of other leagues, such as the XFL.

But we aren't really here to go over all that; instead, he is claiming that he was "black-balled" by the NFL.

In a recent press conference for the Kansas City Chiefs, special teams coordinator Dave Toub revealed that the team's backup punter is quarterback Patrick Mahomes. King reacted to that announcement on Twitter.

So I guess there are no other good punters out there with a good enough resume, and the last resort was to use the QB 4 days out, huh? I know I'm being blackballed by now, but at least give another guy that's qualified for that position a chance

Now, was King black-balled? Well, I have no idea. But what I do know is that he is making a good point; the quarterback, and the best in the league at that, should not have to be the Chief's backup punter.
