The Las Vegas Raiders endured some injuries on Sunday against the New England Patriots in Week 6. They came out with the win, but it wasn't easy at all.

Jimmy Garoppolo, the starting quarterback and free-agent acquisition, got injured in the game as he held his back before halftime. At the half, he was seen leaving the arena in an ambulance and went to a local hospital.

Backup quarterback Brian Hoyer came in and played a fine game.

However, we are hearing everything Raiders fans want to hear now. Everyone wants Aidan O'Connell instead, and we could get that. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network gave an update:

"Jimmy Garoppolo, he left yesterday's game with what was termed as a back injury, and if you watch the game, you can see him clearly grimacing, clearly in pain. He was taken out and taken to a local hospital for some tests. Generally, in these situations, when it's a back injury, you are taken to a hospital for internal injuries. It does sound like he's pretty banged up, maybe not as bad as they initially thought. This is a player who is clearly in some pain. I would not be surprised if he missed a game or maybe two. We will get the final and full results on Garoppolo hopefully today. But there is a very real chance that it is Aidan O'Connell this week coming on the relief of the Raiders starter."

The Raiders' fans worldwide love what they have seen from O'Connell and would love to see more of him. This is what every fan wants.

Obviously, you never wish for injury upon any player, and we hope Garoppolo is okay; however, it will be good to see what the rookie is made of.
