Hunter Renfrow has been one of the bigger trade candidates all season and even this last offseason. I think everyone pretty much knew that he wouldn't be a part of the team long-term when, in Week 1, Renfrow played 22% of offensive snaps. Week 2 was much better, but there is no reason he should have gone through all of Week 1 without a target and then one target in garbage time against the Buffalo Bills.

Through two weeks, we knew he wouldn't be wearing silver and black in 2024. Now, after a recent report, it looks like it's possible that trade could be coming soon.

Here is what Bleacher Report's NFL insider Jordan Schultz had to say about the current situation:

"From everything I've been told, the Raiders have been trying to move Renfrow, really going back to last season. And unfortunately, they haven't been able to find a shooter in large part because of his contract. But I can tell you that both sides want to find a healthy separation. It's a mutual agreement that a change of scenery for Renfro would benefit everyone involved. It really comes down to a fractured relationship with Josh McDaniels."

In other words, be on the lookout for a Renfrow trade here soon. The Raiders are going to try and get picks back or a defensive player. However, it will be tough with Renfrow's contract to find a team that is interested. But the good thing is there are plenty of teams out there that need slot receivers.

The trade deadline is October 31, so anything could happen any day now.
