The Las Vegas Raiders have made some adjustments over the offseason by adding the best receiver in the league in Davante Adams. Now, there have been questions about how balanced it will be.

In case you forgot, the Raiders also have a top-three tight end in the league in Darren Waller. They also have one of the best slot receivers in the game in Hunter Renfrow.

Oh, and they have a very talented running back in Josh Jacobs, who can run through the tackles and catch it out of the backfield.

So with all the weapons, they do have, the questions surrounding the team have been about the offense, and how balanced would it be. Would a polarizing player like Adams demand targets, or would they go to other players?

"Oh yeah, the thing to us is we just want to win the football games," Raiders quarterback Derek Carr told the media on Wednesday. "You want to add as many good players as you can, and go and try and figure out the scheme and the chess match to win the football game, right? And so if that means that other people get the football, other people are going to get the football.

"If that means he's [Davante Adams] going to get it, he's going to get it. To us, we just want to play sound football, and that's a big reason why Tae came is that there are so many other weapons alongside him. If they wanna take him away he has two other guys that have shown they can win football games."

If you are a Raiders fan, that has to feel good to hear. One thing this offseason has taught us is that the Raiders can compete in this league, but it's up to them to take charge.

Now, with an unstoppable offense like this, they can do just that.

And, they have plenty of options to go to. If Adams and Renfrow are both taken away, and Waller is also struggling, Mack Hollins is another guy that has shown he can ball.

Third-year receiver Tyron Johnson also showed some skills during training camp and preseason.

So it isn't just the stars on this team, but the role players and backups as well. It's just up to them to put it all together, and that starts Week 1 on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.

If they win then, the Raiders will already have first place in the division locked up.
