The Las Vegas Raiders have a ton of needs in the 2026 NFL Draft, but they only have so many picks to address them, and some of those needs won’t be addressed in the way that maybe they should be. One that has to be addressed in the draft, no matter the round, is the WR position.

Luckily for the Raiders, they are already doing their due diligence in meeting with some pretty elite guys at the position. They can’t take one in the first round unless they trade back into it. So, they have to target the guys they think will be available after the first. One of those players could be Texas A&M Fighting Aggies WR KC Concepcion, who they are set to have a top-30 visit with.

Concepcion is an explosive playmaker who would help out the rookie quarterback, Fernando Mendoza, tremendously.

Raiders would love KC Concepcion

It’s hard to really gauge where each Raider’s need will be targeted in the draft. The Raiders could take a wide receiver anywhere from the second round to the seventh round. Their current room is good enough to get by in this rebuild year. However, you always want to put elite weapons around your rookie QB. Then again, they just drafted two wide receivers last season and now have signed Jalen Nailor.

Concepcion seems to be a late-first, early second-round type of receiver in this draft. He’s one of the best in the draft, but does seem to have some issues with drops, as Pro Football Focus has him at a 10.3% Drop Rate, which is not good at all. However, if he can get some of that under control, he can be an elite playmaker.

In 38 games, he tallied 2,200 receiving yards, 28 scrimmage TDs, and 430 rushing yards. Kubiak would love to have a weapon like Concepcion, who had some elite acceleration once he gets the ball in his hands. He was used more than just a receiving target, but also a guy his offenses could hand the ball off to on those Jet Sweep kind of plays, and when he gets space, he’s gone.

At 5’11, 190, he kind of fits what the Raiders lack in that room. And, the Raiders just so happen to be picking at No. 36 in the draft, which is at the top of the second round. On our big board at A to Z Sports, Concepcion is the No. 4 overall receiver and the No. 22 overall player. However, other outlets have him as low as the No. 10 receiver in this class. He could fall, so the Raiders have to at least have a visit with him.
