The Las Vegas Raiders have a long history. Once the history was known as a team, other teams feared it. You knew that if you played the Raiders, you were going to get hit hard and be hurting afterward. That's just not the case anymore like it once was.
Now, their history is losing. They haven't won a playoff game in over 20 years. That has to change soon, or else the guys that are in the building that you want to keep around won't want to stay around. Maxx Crosby is one of those guys.
The dude has the Raiders' logo tattooed on his body, so he will always be a Raider, no matter what. However, who knows? He may want to ask for a trade soon if the team keeps up this poor excuse for a franchise. The fans want to win now, the players want to win, and the team cannot seem to get out of their own way.
They have had some pretty embarrassing losses over the years, and after the one they had Sunday to the Minnesota Vikings, it sounds like Maxx Crosby, their best player, is fed up.
"You train and do all these things just to be able to get on the field 17 guaranteed times," Crosby said, coming off of a gruesome injury. "It sucks, it's F*****g terrible… I hate losing. I'm sick of it. I have said it over and over and over again. I've gotta find ways to get better."
We have heard similar words like these from Crosby before because he just hates losing so much. You want to hear this from guys, especially your best guys because it shows that they care. However, Crosby has every right to be upset, too.
You cannot have a bye week and then come out and put up zero points and allow just three. That's awful and embarrassing, mainly because Crosby and the defense did their job. So, let Crosby say whatever he wants; maybe finally, someone will listen.
