Maxx Crosby sends a heartfelt message to the Las Vegas Raiders fan base after losing in heartbreaking fashion to the Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars beat Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Las Vegas Raiders are in a position where they can really start to push for the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. But that would mean they have to realistically lose pretty much every single game left on their schedule. This fan base does not really want that. This fan base does not want to continue seeing their team lose the way they do every single week. And Mxx Crosby sure as heck doesn’t.
“Raider Nation, I Love Y’all With Everything In My Heart & Soul. Y’all Deserve Better. Stay As One, It Will Change,” Crosby tweeted after the heartbreaking overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
If there is anyone tired of what the Raiders have been doing, it’s Crosby, one of the most competitive guys this league has ever seen.
Raiders need to win now more than ever, despite needing the top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft
This team does need a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft. Geno Smith is obviously not the guy, and it appears that he’s now in his head more than he has ever been. Once a guy gets like that, it feels like it could be impossible to get out of that funk.
They need a rookie quarterback who can come in and be the guy in 2027, or heck, if he’s ready to be the guy in 2026, be the guy then. However, they need to learn how to win even more than that. This team has not won a playoff game in around 25 years, the second-longest such drought. So, while they do need that pick, and a high pick at that, they also need to learn how to win.
Not to mention, it should make some of the fan base happy along the ride, too. They need to learn how to win, so that when the roster is a winning roster – the coaching staff is a winning coaching staff, they will not be clueless how to win when it becomes time to do that.
