The Las Vegas Raiders are searching for their head coach now, and a general manager to pair them with, and it appears that Tom Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, is doing the bulk of the work. So, we can expect there to be some hype around this job opening.

There is really some steam picking up for two head coaches right now: Pete Carrol, the former Seattle Seahawks head coach, and Ben Johnson, the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator. Those two would be great for this team, and I think the fan base would be much happier with either of those guys than they would be with Antonio Pierce still in town, respectfully.

And since we are here talking about what the fan base wants, even though that really doesn't matter, another coach is interested in the job, and man, he is a fan favorite, but he is also himself.

Raiders drawing interest from superstar HC

According to Raiders insider Vinny Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Raiders and Deion Sanders have some interest in one another. Yes, you read that right, Prime Time, Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, and father of quarterback Sheduer Sanders, is interested in the job.

This is a guy that fits the personality you have to have for the job, is friends with Tom Brady and I'm sure Mark Davis, loves the Vegas area and wants to be at the NFL level. And, he would be a free-agency destination for teams, and players will want to play for him.

We have seen him pretty much completely turn around Colorado, and if he can do that, maybe he can do that with the Raiders if he gets the right staff around himself.

The Raiders also wouldn't have to wait for Sanders to get done with the playoffs like he would for Ben Johnson or Aaron Glenn. So, that's a plus — they could get right to it.
