This season was a test for interim head coach Antonio Pierce, who has done a good job with what he was dealt. However, the Las Vegas Raiders still have some important decisions to make regarding who will be the head coach in 2024.

Could it be Pierce again? Sure. The players, such as Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams, have already shared their opinion on Pierce returning, as they would like that to be the decision owner Mark Davis makes.

But Davis has gotten it wrong a few times already, or the team wouldn't be in their current situation. So, he has to make sure he gets this one right. Davis will take his time and evaluate every possibility, including the other one that is out there floating around – Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Raiders are preferring Harbaugh at the moment. Harbaugh is playing in the National Championship on Monday, and if he wants the job, it's likely his.

Harbaugh last coached in the NFL in 2014. He took the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl the year before that but ultimately fell short to his brother coaching the Baltimore Ravens.

There have also been rumors that Mark Davis is taking advice in this process from Tom Brady, who is soon to be a partial owner. Brady is a Michigan Alumni and has a close relationship with Harbaugh. If Brady were to give his input, do you think he would advocate for the guy who could win his former college a national championship or the guy in Antonio Pierce who ended Brady's perfect season with the Patriots and beat Brady in the Super Bowl?

There are certainly a ton of decisions to make, and we will have to follow everything as we get closer to the offseason.
