The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to quickly get a Davante Adams trade done. They want to get all of the drama over well and finally head in a new direction. Davante Adams is no longer battling denying the allegations of wanting to be traded. Now, the Raiders are answering phone calls, as well as making them.
The key here in this trade will be to get as much back as possible that will help you now and in the future. Davante Adams is worth a good bit, but, so far, the Raiders seem to be scaring some teams away with their asking price.
What we have found out now, is who is interested. The Dallas Cowboys were initially interested but have since fallen off. The Kansas City Chiefs are in the wide receiver market, but the Raiders would never do that. The New Orleans Saints are interested but will need to make some cap moves for that to happen.
Of course, there's always the New York Jets, too, the team we heard about the most since Aaron Rodgers joined them. That's what Adams wants, to play with a quarterback he knows. So, that means his biggest issue is at quarterback.
Now we know which team is the most likely to get the deal done.
According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Jets are the team most likely to trade for one of the best wide receivers this league has ever seen. She has talked to many teams and people involved, and the team she hears about the most is in fact the Jets.
That is also one of Adams' teams on his wishlist, although I'm not really sure it matters where he wants to go.
