The Las Vegas have a decision to make at running back. Veteran Josh Jacobs has held down the starting role for multiple seasons. Ameer Abdullah and rookie Zamir White have had great trainings camps, respectively. Some believe that those two give the offense more upside on the ground and through the air than Jacobs.
Kyle Brandt of Good Morning Football believes that White could breakout this season after his performances in the preseason. White's last couple outings haven't been anything spectacular, but his opening performance in the preseason was impressive. He ran the ball eleven times for 52 yards. White showed great explosiveness and balance throughout the game. He added three catches for 23 yards through the air.
White's role in the offense may be limited to start the year. That being said, any struggles from Jacobs would probably thrust him into an increased role.
