The Las Vegas Raiders' passing game got a lot of the attention during Sunday's game versus the San Francisco 49ers. It was for good reason as it was exciting and explosive.
Raiders running back Josh Jacobs had a quieter game than normal this season.
That being said, Jacobs' impact was still felt for both teams.
He ran for 69 yards and a touchdown. Jacobs also caught four passes for 26 yards. The 49ers certainly game planned to keep him in check, so the Raiders' passing game found plenty of success.
Regardless, the 49ers' best player had gleaming respect for Jacobs.
Defensive edge Nick Bosa knows how talented he is, and he respects his game.
That praise is something special considering all of the runners that Bosa has dealt with in his career. Those names would include guys like Alvin Kamara, Austin Ekeler, and Christian McCaffrey – just to name a few.
Jacobs is having an unbelievable season, so he deserves this sort of attention from one of the best defensive players in the NFL.
As of right now, Bosa is projected to win NFC Defensive Player of the Year as of right now. He knows what it's like to be among the best at your position.
Jacobs is certainly in that category at running back this season.
One of the main storylines for the Raiders during this off-season will be the future of Jacobs with the team. His contract will be up, but they could franchise tag or extend him.
Clearly, he's very well respected around the NFL.
