The Las Vegas Raiders are going to be a team to watch in 2025, whether they are good or bad. And that is largely because of the new regime, headlined by head coach Pete Carroll and GM John Spytek, putting together the roster.
They were able to go and trade for quarterback Geno Smith, giving them an instant upgrade at the position. Then, they absolutely nailed free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft, selecting Ashton Jeanty, who alone will attract eyes to the games. They are sure to be better in 2025 than they were in 2024.
But, how will they get to that point? Who they play, when they play them, and where their bye week is are all really important things. On Wednesday, May 14, we got the full NFL schedule released.

Biggest Games on the Raiders' 2025 Schedule
Chiefs @ Raiders: The Raiders have to get through Kansas City of they want a chance at the division. Now, no one is saying that will happen, but if they can beat the Chiefs consistently, they will be in good shape. And, KC's roster tells me they may struggle to stop the run.
Raiders @ Texans: The Raiders need to show that they can beat good teams, and the Houston Texans are a team that they don't play often. With C.J. Stroud on the Texans, the guy everyone wanted the Raiders to trade up for, this game won't be easy. But, Houston tends to get in their own way.
Raiders @ Eagles: Can you imagine how huge it would be for the Raiders to beat the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles on the road?
Primetime Games and Streaming Service Broadcasts
Which games will be primetime viewing?
When Davante Adams first came to town, the Las Vegas Raiders got a ton of national TV games. Then, those slowly started to fade away, especially last season when they only had a few. Now, they have three, which still isn't a lot, but hey, they have to earn their right to play on primetime, right?
Which games will you need streaming services to watch?
Raiders vs. Chargers (Week 2 MNF) – This game is going to be played on Monday Night Football, which is on ESPN. You can watch with the ESPN streaming app, or any other streaming provider that has the ESPN channel.
Raiders at Denver Broncos (Week 10 TNF) – To watch this game, it's pretty much exclusively on Amazon Prime. To watch, you may have to pay for the streaming app.
Raiders vs. Dallas Cowboys (Week 11 MNF) – This game is going to be played on Monday Night Football, which is on ESPN. You can watch with the ESPN streaming app, or any other streaming provider that has the ESPN channel.
5 Must-watch Matchups on Raiders 2025 Schedule
- Raiders vs. Broncos: Last season, three teams from the AFC West made the postseason, with the Chiefs getting the division title. The Raiders need to figure out if they have what it takes to make that jump to a wildcard spot. The Broncos will have a top defense in the league.
- Raiders vs. Chargers: Last season, three teams from the AFC West made the postseason, with the Chiefs getting the division title. The Raiders need to figure out if they have what it takes to make that jump to a wildcard spot. The Chargers added some weapons around Justin Herbert.
- Raiders vs. Chiefs: These games have usually favored the Chiefs the last decade or so. But, the last two years they have been closer than KC maybe would have liked, with a near win last year, and a win on Christmas the year before. It will be interesting to see if KC still has what it takes to win the division, and where the Raiders stand in the division.
- Raiders vs. Bears: Getting to see Caleb Williams with a ton of weapons around him is going to be fun.
- Raiders vs. Cowboys: This could end up being a competitive game, but also a game that sells because of the two teams.
Raiders' biggest revenge games in 2025
Raiders vs. Patriots: Not only is this the game where the Raiders get to go against Josh McDaniels, who is the offensive coordinator for the Patriots, but they also get to play against Robert Spillane, who just left the Raiders in free agency for the Patriots.
Raiders vs. Commanders: New Raiders safety Jeremy Chinn will get to go against his old team, which didn't want to bring him back. He will get to prove to them why they should have.
Raiders vs. Chiefs: Remember last season when the Raiders almost beat the Chiefs, but a bad snap on what was likely the play before the last play, kept the Raiders from winning. Yeah, it's time for some revenge.
