Raiders locker room shows how it truly feels about Jarrett Stidham's play vs. 49ers

The Las Vegas Raiders may be eliminated from the playoffs this season, but that doesn't mean fans still can't have some fun watching their team these last two weeks. On Sunday against the 49ers, that's exactly what it was, fun, even in a loss.
The benching of Derek Carr only added more storylines for a team that didn't need any more drama. But, Jarrett Stidham brought drama, in a good way.
In a game they weren't supposed to be in, he was the leader of a team that looked like they could possibly win. Of course, it didn't end that way. But, it definitely wasn't on Stidham, even though he apologized to everyone in the locker room after the game.
“I think every single person on the team said, ‘Man, get out of here with that. You balled out and you did your thing.' We’ve got to find a way to help him – protect a little longer, catch a few more balls and get a few more first downs, a few more points, and it could have been a dream situation for him, too…Proud of Jarrett,” Davante Adams said.
I think we should all be proud of Stidham. He absolutely shocked everyone with how he played. And, while, yes it was just one game, he looked much better than Carr has all season, in my opinion. His decision-making was nearly perfect, and he showed chemistry with Adams that rewarded them with a wide-open 60-yard touchdown, their longest of the season.
Watching Stidham go head-to-head with the best defense in the league was a treat, to be honest. He finished with three passing touchdowns and over 300 yards passing and was able to consistently put the Raiders in a position to win.
Who knows, if he does this next week, he could be the guy next year. He shouldn't have apologized for this game, he was probably the best player on offense besides Adams.
