The Las Vegas Raiders started the draft with 12 picks and came away with nine players. They addressed every need possible, besides maybe the offensive line. The new regime is showing that they can draft, at least we think so so far.

Now there is more than nine new players added to thee roster, when you factor in undrafted free agents too. The Raiders moves will eventually put them at 90 players on the roster. Before the regular season starts, they have to get it down to 53 guys. So, who would make the cut?

Raiders’ Post-Draft Projected 53-man Depth Chart

Just based on what we can see on paper, this team is so much better than it was last year, especially on defense. Now, this isn't going to be an amazing defense right away. But, this defense will bee improved. They got the guys to get better at every position, and it would appear that Ziegler did a good job.

Either way, we can assume that Josh McDaniels will put this team in the right position to succeed, which is what we all want to see, especially after a brutal 2022 season.
