The Las Vegas Raiders, as has every team in the league, are going through it on the injury front, with several key players looking to be out again on Sunday, this time against the Los Angeles Rams.
It seems like since Aidan O’Connell was named the start, he just can’t catch a break — nothing to do with him, but everything around him.
Last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, O’Connell was named the starter after Gardner Minshew played his way onto the bench. But, he went into that game without his two best wide receivers,
Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, and Michael Mayer, a starting tight end. Of course, those definitely weren’t the only injuries, too.
This week, it’s looking more and more likely that Meyers will be out again. According to Antonio Pierce on Friday, Meyers is doubtful to go on Sunday. Anytime a player is doubtful, they usually don’t play, unless your name is Maxx Crosby, who did last season.
Pierce also mentioned that starting offensive guard Dylan Parham is out, too, after missing a few games already this year.
It just seems like O’Connell cannot catch a break.

The Raiders will have to make a decision soon.
