The Las Vegas Raiders may not have had the season we all thought they would, but some good things did happen to end the NFL season. The Raiders and some of their players were able to be recognized for their elite play in 2022.
Guys like Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby, and Josh Jacobs all either made the Pro Bowl or became an All-Pro, but only one of them was voted by his peers as the best at his position.
Even with some people being sad about the eventual departure of quarterback Derek Carr, we can celebrate other players having great seasons.
Josh Jacobs had the best year of his career, which happens often when guys are playing for a new contract. He was widely considered the best running back in the league by the fans in 2022, but now he is considered it by his peers as well.
According to The NFL Players Association, Jacobs was voted on by other running backs and defensive players as the best running back in the league, with Nick Chubb, Tony Pollard, Christian McCaffrey, and Saquon Barkley.
It seems like the players know what they are talking about, as they should. This was voted by guys who play the same position and guys who defend it, so they know what they are talking about.
This just adds even more to Jacob's impressive 2022 resume, as he looks for a new contract in 2023.
