The Las Vegas Raiders had one of the weirdest situations happen to them at some time. First, let's rewind a bit.

Remember not long ago when Josh McDaniels was still the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots, and he took the job for the Indianapolis Colts, but only he didn't.

That's pretty much what happened to the Raiders this offseason.

However, this was Kliff Kingsbury for the offensive coordinator position.

Since then, the Raiders have found their actual offensive coordinator for the 2024 season, but the whole situation with Kingsbury was weird. Recently, head coach Antonio Pierce talked about it. Well, kind of.

"I don't talk about guys that's not [on the] Raiders," Pierce said during his Radio Row interview with the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

That is probably the best way Pierce could have handled it. It may sound like he was being disrespectful, but that's really just how Pierce is. Kingsbury was a former head coach for the Arizona Cardinals, so the experience was enticing for Pierce, as he is basically a rookie head coach. But things just weren't meant to be.
