The Las Vegas Raiders are in full tank mode. Now, the coaches and players aren't intentionally trying to lose, no, but the team is bad, and they are losing games. Sure, those games are getting close, but that's what they want. They want to lose as many games as possible while still being competitive.

Against the Kansas City Chiefs, they did that. And really, they should have won the game, but a bad snap at the wrong time saved the Chiefs' lives, again. And, this, along with the Wednesday and Thursday reports, has caused fans to come up with a theory about the Raiders legitimately tanking.

Here is the theory you will likely see on Twitter:

The Raiders are starting to get too good — they need that No. 1 pick desperately, and they are losing close games, games that should win. So, the snap at the end of the Raiders game against the Chiefs matched with Aidan O'Connell, who played his best career game, out at practice and Jakobi Meyers out Wednesday and Thursday, did not help the theory that fans think the Raiders really are intentionally losing.

On Friday, Antonio Pierce delivered some injury news that kind of debunks that. Had those two not played on Sunday, that theory could have looked right. But, on Friday, Pierce said the two of them are a "Full go."

So, the two of them will play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This team is not intentionally tanking, they are just that bad and find a new way to lose the game every week. This is a bad team, and they need to keep losing to get better, as weird as that sounds.

After their game with the Buccaneers, the Raiders will play the Atlanta Falcons. Then they will play the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have one more win than the Raiders. Those two will be fighting for who has the better pick by the end of the season.
