The Las Vegas Raiders started the season badly and I think we can all agree with that. But, it could be worse. In the division, there is a team off to a worse start than the Raiders. That team would be the Denver Broncos.

Some of you will likely disagree with that statement, but I have the perfect rebuttal.

Think of it like this. If you watched the Bronco's Thursday Night Football game against the Indianapolis Colts, then you saw just how bad the Broncos look. Yes, they do have a better record than the Raiders, but here's why.

The Broncos have played the Seattle Seahawks, which they lost to, the Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, and now the Indianapolis Colts, who they also lost to.

Those teams combined records are 7-12-2, while the Broncos' record is now 2-3. The Raiders have played much better teams. They have played the Los Angeles Chargers who are considered one of the most complete teams in the league, the Arizona Cardinals who were a playoff team last year, the Tennessee Titans who were a number one seed last year, and will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday.

It's safe to say the Raiders have had a tough schedule to start.

There is one more reason why the Raiders are in a better situation than the Broncos. The Broncos' situation doesn't look like it's very fixable. They have issues on offense that look like it will take a change or firing to fix.

The Raiders, on the other hand, are just making bonehead mistakes and losing close games.

The Broncos have helped the Raiders, though, believe it or not. They have put themselves in a position to become last in the division, and swap spots with the Raiders.

If the Raiders win on Monday night against the Chiefs, the Raiders could potentially be in second place in the division depending on if the Chargers lose on Sunday.

Either way, the Broncos' loss on Thursday night should make Raiders fans happier about the situation they are in.
