The Las Vegas Raiders, just like every team, are currently making cuts to get their roster down to 53 players. They just cut a pair of receivers, leaving some asking questions about how the roster will look.

According to several sources across the league, the Raiders cut wide receiver Keelan Cole, which was expected, and Phillip Dorsett, which was different than expected.

Dorsett was a guy who was thought to make the 53-man roster because of his past in the same offensive system and his relationship with Jimmy Garoppolo and Josh McDaniels. However, they are going in a different direction. Now the question stands: Who is taking that last spot? And how many spots do the Raiders plan on keeping?

Raiders questions to be answered after latest cuts

Last season, the Las Vegas Raiders kept only five receivers on their initial 53-man roster. This year, they may keep six because of how deep the unit is. Now the question is, do they keep six or stick with five?

That brings another question: who is if Dorsett isn't on the roster as that last spot? To me, Kristian Wilkerson deserves a spot. He played his tail off in the preseason and was much better than Dorsett, Cole, Sims, and Lacy.

However, I can only see Wilkerson making it if the Raiders keep six receivers.

If the Raiders keep just five receivers, it will look like Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, and Deandre Carter, who has experience in the return game.

As the cut deadline, which is 4 p.m. EST, winds down, the Raiders will start cutting more and more players, and then we will have the answer to the question.
