Early on Friday morning, just hours after a video surfaced of Chandler Jones breaking down in tears on Instagram, Jones was arrested, per TMZ.
Jones has yet to play a game this season, as he and the Las Vegas Raiders are not currently on good terms. There has been drama surrounding the two sides.
Jones states that the team won't let him play because he knows some dirt on the team, while Josh McDaniels just continues to state that it's a private and personal matter that he will not get into.
Last week, the Raiders placed Jones on the NFI list. He is still in the Clark County Detention Center in Nevada.
According to Tashan Reed of The Athletic, "Jones was arrested Friday morning for a charge listed as "VIOL DOM VIOLENCE TPO," which is a violation of a temporary protection order. His bail has been set at $15,000 and a court date has been set for Dec. 4, 2023."
