As we have said over a million times by now, the Las Vegas Raiders are in search of a new head coach and general manager. They are interviewing everyone possible so they don't get this one wrong like they have the last few times.
One of their more recent interviews for the general manager position, besides the interview with Champ Kelly that was held on Monday, was an interview with former Los Angeles Chargers GM Tom Telesco.
The Raiders are interested in adding a guy who ran up the Chargers cap space and basically destroyed it with bad contracts and guys who didn't perform. However, he was good at getting talent to the Chargers, whether it be Justin Herbert, Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack, Rashawn Slater, or Derwin James. But he is also responsible for contracts like the atrocious J.C. Jackson contract.
If the Raiders hired Telesco, they would be hiring the Chargers scrapes, who had a worse season than the Raiders. It's almost as if they would be moving backward.
