Coming into this week, Davante Adams was listed as questionable with a shoulder injury he sustained against the Los Angeles Chargers when they beat the Las Vegas Raiders just last week.
But was there ever any doubt he wouldn't play against his former team? We all knew he would; we were just waiting for the report.
Well, on Monday, we got the report just hours before kickoff. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Adams is expected to play despite barely practicing all week.
He wanted to play his old team no matter what. He won't say there are extra emotions, but there are. That's part of being human. Ultimately, though, this news means the Raiders have the best chance to win on offense with him, not with Jakobi Meyers as the number-one guy.
This isn't really a revenge game because Adams did ask for the trade, and both sides were pretty mutual on it, but you better believe that Adams wants to kill any competition, especially one he used to play for.
Now we are just waiting to hear about Jimmy Garoppolo and Marcus Epps, who are also questionable.
