Davante Adams Las Vegas Raiders

Of course, a loss certainly doesn't help what I'm about to say, but there has been some disrespect around the Las Vegas Raiders' wide receiver, Davante Adams, for some time now. He is the best receiver in the league. People seem to forget that.

Sure, Justin Jefferson and Tyreek Hill are amazing, but neither of those has been as consistent for as long as Adams has been the best in the league. Ultimately, that's what it comes down to. And, for some odd reason, the media stopped giving Adams any attention.

The media won't talk about it, but on Sunday, even in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Adams put up crazy numbers and even ended up breaking some records.

Here is the first one:

"WR Davante Adams has pulled in 2 touchdown receptions tonight, his 22nd career game with multiple receiving touchdowns, the most of such games since 2014. His 22 multi-TD games also tie Art Powell for the seventh most games in NFL history," the Raiders PR tweeted out.

That stat is just amazing when you think about it or read it out loud, and I'm betting that he has a pretty good chance to get in that top-five all-time or maybe top-three all-time.

Here is the other record he broke:

"WR Davante Adams now has 90 career receiving touchdowns, becoming one of six players in NFL history to reach 90+ receiving touchdowns in their first 135 career games," Raiders PR tweeted again.

The Raiders ran their offense through Adams when the offense was working. They got the ball to Davante Adams to extend his consecutive games with a reception streak to 117, which is more than impressive, on the game's first drive.

However, the next drive was amazing. Adams went 3/4 on the drive with 60 receiving yards and a touchdown. The drive was basically all him, as Jimmy Garoppolo just kept feeding him.

And his first touchdown on the night was a historical one, too. It was his 30th primetime touchdown reception, becoming the seventh player in NFL history to reach 30 career touchdown receptions in primetime games.

This guy is just amazing, yet the Raiders are wasting his talent with loss after loss.
