The Davante Adams saga in Las Vegas continues. The Las Vegas Raiders' top wide receiver made some strong statements on Tuesday morning. In the afternoon, a noted league insider clarified where the wideout stands with his current team.

Davante Adams would prefer to be traded by Raiders

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Adams has informed the team that he would prefer to be traded by Las Vegas. Nothing is imminent at the moment.

Rapoport also confirms that there will be a market for Adams. His contract is not a cheap option in a trade, but there will be suitors for a former All-Pro talent on offense.

He's not the only source confirming a market for the star receiver. Las Vegas seems to be open to moving him before the trade deadline.

Then, Raiders insider Vinny Bonsignore reported that he has a source telling him the Raiders are finally gauging interest in Adams in the trade market. They are calling teams to get a feel for what they could get for him. That doesn't mean he will be traded, but it certainly means he could. — Justin Churchill, A to Z Sports

Adams has repeatedly denied wanting to get traded over the past calendar year. He's said that he wants to remain in Vegas on numerous occasions. Clearly, that point of view has shifted.

Raiders looking for second-round pick and more in Adams trade

Adam Schefter says that Las Vegas is considering trading Adams in exchange for a second-round pick and additional compensation.

This notable update on the situation follows Adams' discussion on the Up and Adams Show with Kay Adams.

There's clearly some disconnect between Adams, HC Antonio Pierce, and the Raiders. We will see how all of this shakes out for both sides.
