In sports history, there is always that one player that's hard to imagine in a different uniform. It was pretty hard to imagine Tom Brady in any other uniform than the New England Patriots. Then, when it happened, it was so weird. It will likely be that way with guys like Patrick Mahomes on the Kansas City Chiefs and even a guy on the Las Vegas Raiders.

It's almost impossible to imagine Maxx Crosby ever wearing an NFL uniform that doesn't have the shield on it. He's just one of those guys that you can say this early in his career, will for certain retire as a Las Vegas Raiders player.

Crosby is unbelievably loyal. He has the Raiders logo tattoed on him already and is countlessly on record saying he will never play for another franchise in his career. But recently, while doing so, he threw some shots at one of the greatest basketball players to ever play.

"Yeah you know, for me, the guys who inspire me,m the Kobe's [Bryant] and the Jordan's [Michael], the guys who stayed at the same place and won in the same place," Crosby said. "No offense to the guys like LeBron [James] and those dudes. I won’t give them some heat, but they took the easy road traveled, and that’s not the way I look at it.

"I feel like, for me, going through it, and going through the ups and downs and hardships, is going to make it even that much sweeter when I do win a Super Bowl. I plan on being here for a very long time, and I plan on winning here. And when I signed that contract I didn't have any thought of leaving. I'm going to be a Raider for life."

Now, yes, before you say anything – Crosby did threaten to request a trade if the team didn't hire Antonio Pierce as the head coach for the 2024 season. However, guys like Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan did that on more than one occasion during their careers.

Crosby wants to be in Las Vegas for the rest of his career. And, he isn't wrong about LeBron. While he is one of the greatest players of all time, if not the greatest, he has moved around quite a bit with several super stars at every stop. Crosby is trying to build his own empire where it all started.
