It's very obvious in the NFL the most important position in the sport is the quarterback, and with the Las Vegas Raiders situation, with Gardner Minshew being their best guy at the position, they will be at somewhat of a disadvantage the whole season, based on the team they play that week.
For example, this week against the Los Angeles Chargers, they do not have the quarterback advantage, as Justin Herbert is much better than Minshew. now, that doesn't mean the Raiders have to lose this game in Week 1, but when you have the better quarterback, it certainly makes things easier.
The Raiders already had that disadvantage going for them. Now, after Friday's practice and eventual practice report, it's clear that the Raiders will be put at a disadvantage again, as they will be without one of their best players.

After Week 8, he really started to turn into a player that looked like he could be a Pro Bowl-caliber player.
