The Las Vegas Raiders won't hit the field until Monday night. On Sunday, they got some entertainment from an AFC West foe.
The Los Angeles Chargers almost blew a late lead against the Cleveland Browns.
Up by two with just over a minute left, Los Angeles went for it on 4th & 2 on their own 46. They did not pick up the first down. That gave the Browns the ball close to field goal range with 1:10 left.
Chargers' star WR Keenan Allen had a comical tweet regarding the decision by Chargers' head coach Brandon Staley. Raiders fans will certainly enjoy it.
Luckily for the Chargers, the Browns missed the game-tying field goal. Their defense came up big to force the 54-yard attempt.
The Raiders were certainly rooting for the Browns, but they came up just short.
