The Las Vegas Raiders not only have to enter free agency with the thought of getting better and improving the roster, but they also have to try and make one of their best players come back to Vegas as well. Josh Jacobs, one of the best running backs in the league, has just hit the open market.

After last season, when Jacobs held out of training camp, the Raiders franchise tagged Josh Jacobs, but Jacobs never signed the tag. This season, the Raiders said that they did not want to do that. They wanted to get a deal done without using the franchise tag.

However, they were not able to get the deal done before the legal tampering period opened on Monday. That means that Jacobs will hit the market and can communicate with other teams on a potential deal. Now, since the Raiders didn't get anything done, it appears Jacobs will have some other teams interested, which means the Raiders will ahve some competition.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Raiders have been attempting to re-sign Josh Jacobs. Fowler mentioned that riunning backs Saquon Barkley and Jacobs could go off the board fairly early in free agency.

If he could go off the board early, that must mean there is a high demand for Jacobs and a lot of teams want him. Now, we just have to wait and see.
