The Las Vegas Raiders have a huge opportunity ahead of them over the next five weeks. They can potentially turn the tables if everything goes how we think it will. The Raiders have been a bad team, but that could all change soon.

Sure, five weeks from now seems like a while, but it is soon when you think about how quickly Week 6 has approached us. Just the other day, it was Week 1, and we were excited to see what this Raiders team looked like. We know they are a bad team, so the excitement has been gone for a while.

Over these next five weeks, the Raiders could bring that back.

They just got their second win of the season over the Green Bay Packers, who are also a bad team; however, a win is a win nonetheless. Now, they are tasked with playing the New England Patriots, the former employer of head coach Josh McDaniels, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, and a few Raiders, whether it be coaches or players.

This offseason, the Raiders officially adopted the names New England Raiders or Las Vegas Patriots; you can choose.

The Patriots are not a good team and may be worse than the Raiders. They haven't scored a point in their last 34 offensive possessions, which is just crazy. Their defense isn't great, either. They may be the worst team in football. This game is very winnable.

Then the Raiders play the Chicago Bears, another team with that "maybe the worst team in the league" title. Then the Detroit Lions, who are actually really good and likely will beat the Raiders. Then, the New York Giants and Jets are in the same category as the Patriots and Bears.

If the Raiders' defense keeps playing the way they played on Monday Night Football, they can have a chance in any of these games. As Maxx Crosby said, that game was not a fluke. If the defense plays well and the offense finally figures it out, the Raiders can easily turn the table.

These next five weeks are a huge opportunity.
