The Las Vegas Raiders came out on Sunday and absolutely showed out. Not only did they have the annual "win a game after firing your head coach" game, but they also dominated the New York Giants.
Both the defense and offense showed up. The offense scored more points in the first half than the Raiders had in any other game all season long. The Raiders offense had yet to score 20 points in a game this year. They had 24 at the half.
The defense, well, they have been the better unit this year by far. Not only did they hold the Giants to six total points, but they also had two interceptions and eight sacks. Maxx Crosby himself had a historic night. That's a recipe for success.
So, if you ask me, with everything they have been through this year, they deserve to celebrate this one. They did just that, and in the locker room, they had something special waiting for them.
According to Logan Reever of Channel 8 News in Las Vegas, Maxx Crosby provided the locker room with cigars after the game. Everyone was having a good time, and the vibes were immaculate.
The locker room was filled with smoke, and everyone was having a good time, unlike anything we have seen so far this year. The guys deserved this, just like they deserved the win.
Hopefully, we see more cigars this year.
