The Las Vegas Raiders had their hands full against a bad Chicago Bears team, so it only makes sense they will have their hands full against a good Detroit Lions team.

They were without Jimmy Garoppolo, who suffered a back injury against the New England Patriots. Brian Hoyer came in and played against the Bears and was pathetic, to say the least.

This week, we don't really know who it will be at quarterback. According to one ESPN insider, it will either be Jimmy Garoppolo if he's healthy, or it will be Aidan O'Connell.

However, from what we heard from Josh McDaniels on Thursday, everything sounds like it is trending in the right direction with Garoppolo. McDaniels stated that he and linebacker Curtis Bolton would return to practice on Thursday.

Remember, now, the Raiders do have that extra day, too, as this game is played on Monday. So, we likely won't get a sure say-so on who the starting quarterback is until either Friday or Saturday.
