The Las Vegas Raiders got an unbelievable game from their new starting quarterback last week.
It came against one of the best defenses in the NFL in the San Francisco 49ers. Jarrett Stidham had a breakout performance, but he did get a bit banged up.
Accordingly, he landed on the injury report this week. Stidham was listed with a right elbow injury.
He took plenty of hard hits against the 49ers, but he kept bouncing back. His toughness and determination were clear for the Raiders.
Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels does sound worried about his injury right now, though.
Seems like Stidham will get his second start of the season for Las Vegas. If he has another strong performance, it may get a bit more interesting for the Raiders' off-season.
It's unlikely that he will be their starting QB going into next season, but he's surely gonna give it his best shot to have a chance at that job.
Players and coaches praised Stidham after his great outing for the Raiders vs. the 49ers. It's clear the he has some fans in the locker room.
Overall, it just sounds like his injury is a minor one.
Look for him to start this weekend for the Raiders.
