The Las Vegas Raiders have the seventh pick in the upcoming draft, and it seems as if no one really has any idea on what they will end up doing with it. They have a ton of needs and so many options.
However, it seems that one of the things they don't really need is the thing that keeps getting brought up the most with the pick. Yep, you guessed it, quarterback.
They just signed Jimmy Garoppolo to a long-term deal to be their quarterback for at least the next three years, so why would they take a quarterback?
There is no great reason, other than maybe to have a backup plan. But, the pick can be used smarter for sure. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Raiders hosted top-five quarterback prospect Will Levis on a visit.
In other words, they are interested in him. I'd like to see the Raiders avoid quarterback and go after defense, but hey, what do I know? The Raiders obviously know what they are doing.
