The Las Vegas Raiders may have lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, which is an and, don't get me wrong, but wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was able to accomplish a personal feat that cannot be beaten.

This offseason, the New England Patriots chose JuJu Smith-Schuster over Jakobi Meyers. That's how Meyers really became a potential signing with the Josh McDaniels relationship. And, while the offense has been bad, Meyers has had some great moments.

He is showing that the Patriots were wrong. Sure, the Patriots have been doing that themselves since they are 2-9 on the year. Meyers tied a career-high on Sunday against the Chiefs. Here is what the Raiders PT team tweeted out:

Meyers leads the Raiders with six receiving touchdowns in 2023, tying his single-season career high. His six touchdowns are also currently tied for the ninth most in the NFL.

Meyers has been a solid second option for an offense that hasn't been very good. Not only that, but he is having a near-career-like season overall and is definitely close to having his best season when it comes to finding the end zone.

The Patriots, well, Smith-Schuster is on pace to have his worst season yet. The Patriots easily made the wrong decision, and Meyers is proving that.
