The Las Vegas Raiders' offense just can't seem to not stink, as odd as that sounds. They can't get out of their own way, and it's like that every single game, whether it be penalties or turnovers, the Raiders don't play well on that side of the ball.
Now, the defense has shown up at times. Just in the first half of the Detroit Lions game in Week 8, they allowed one touchdown and three field goals, all on red zone stops.
This, though, is not what Davante Adams signed up for when he requested a trade to the Raiders to play for the team he grew up rooting for. He certainly didn't sign up for this one crazy stat that shows he may have made the wrong decision.
According to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has now been intercepted three times targeting Davante Adams this season. That matches the most interceptions Aaron Rodgers ever threw when targeting Adams in a season, per ESPN Stats Info.
That says a lot, considering the two players played eight seasons together in Green Bay for the Packers. Adams has caught 907 passes from Rodgers in his career, which just sounds crazy, especially typing on a screen.
Adams certainly deserves better, and the pass that Garoppolo threw his way in the first half was not okay. He threw into double coverage where Adams had no shot. It was inexcusable.
According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders are not going to trade him at the deadline on October 31.
