Last season for the Las Vegas Raiders wasn't amazing by any means, but they did have some amazing games. Well, at least one for sure. Their game against the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle has to be up there at the top of the list, along with the win over the New England Patriots.

That also happened to be Josh Jacobs best game as well, as he walked it off in overtime with a big run, in what really started the campaign for the 2022 rushing title. When Maxx Crosby asked Josh Jacobs what his best game was, you already know he said the game in Seattle.

Here is what he said on Maxx Crosby's podcast "The Rush."

"It has to be Seattle," Jacobs said on the podcast. "It's weird because nobody really knows what happened. I wasn't even supposed to play, and people don't even know that. Like, I tore my calf, I partially tore my calf, the Friday practice going into Sunday's game. I literally was, like, woke up that day, and they weren't even gonna fly me with the team at first.

"I remember being on the field, and I'm just like, I remember calling my dad, you know, we kind of, we prayed on the field, and I was just like, man, I think I'm gonna do it. Something different is in the air. There was a fan. We were coming out to pregame and everything. He was talking shit, so much shit. I was looking at the dude; I said, 'Man, you know what? Thank you.' I said, but thank you because I needed that. So after we won, I ran right up to him. I was like, yeah!"

That was a crazy game that featured Jacobs with 229 rushing yards and 74 receiving yards. He also had two rushing touchdowns, including one in overtime that ended the game. But, by far, the most impressive part of the story is what he said about playing through an injury.

I don't know if many knew the severity of that injury. We all remember the reports of him possibly not playing and being a game-time decision. But I have no recollection of his injury being a partially torn calf muscle. That just makes the game even more crazy when you think about a guy in a position who literally uses all of his calf muscle every play.

This guy is a freak athlete.
