I think everyone expected the Las Vegas Raiders to go out and beat a bad New York Giants team. That usually happens when you fire your head coach; for some reason, teams play better the next week. They just do. But we didn't expect to see a 30-6 win.

Antonio Pierce, the Raiders new interim head coach, brought the heat on Sunday. Not only did the Raiders show up and play well, but they dominated, something we have waited to see for what feels like six years.

The players played for Antonio Pierce. Josh Jacobs had some comments after the game that showed that they really love this dude.

"This is the closest team I have ever been on. It's been fun to just have fun every day," Jacobs said. "…We wanted to do it for AP….no matter how this go we gonna play with everything we got for this man… He's just a guy that, you know, you want to run, you want to play hard for, you want to run through a wall for. So it's going to be fun."

While it's just one week, if there is anything we know, it's that these players will play for Antonio Pierce. They may not win every game, but they are going to bring back that Raider way.

The defense did that, too, especially on defense. But even on offense, they ran the ball, hit the check-downs, and just played more physically than the Giants. On defense, they hit everyone hard. They finished with eight sacks.

I'm not going to say the Raiders are back because we just don't know that yet, but these guys seem to feel a lot better, and that's very important.
