The Las Vegas Raiders had a scary moment in their win against the Denver Broncos, where one of their key players went down with what looked to be a pretty serious injury.
Jakobi Meyers, who the Raiders signed this offseason, was having a spectacular game before he was hit hard and taken out of the game.
The hit was helmet to helmet by Broncos' safety Kareem Jackson. Meyers lay on the ground still for a few minutes after, and of course, the original thought was that he may be paralyzed. The sport is so dangerous; that's all you can think about.
Fortunately, he was helped off of the field. Now, we are awaiting what the diagnosis is. From Josh McDaniels, we have heard that he is in the concussion protocol.
