On Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders owner made a generous donation to one local institution, and it greatly benefits the Raiders and their fans.

We all loved Mark Davis' father, Al Davis, who was one of the generational and most respected owners in American sports. He changed everything for the franchise, including its winning ways, by hiring the people needed to do the job.

Everyone loves Al, and I haven't met a Raiders fan that didn't. However, when he passed away, his son Mark Davis became the owner of the Raiders. Per Forbes, Mark Davis has brought more money to the franchise, but overall, the success hasn't increased, and you could even say it has gotten worse.

Many fans constantly call for him to sell the team, and while it won't happen, it's understandable why they would want that.

However, on Tuesday, I think he did something that all Raiders fans can appreciate.

He donated $1 million to UNLV, or the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and had their "team room" renamed the "Al Davis Team Room."

All fans can appreciate what he has done in his father's name that does not have to do with the actual football product like this.
